About IDATA

IDATA Resolutions Ltd grew out of Backup Strategies Limited which was formed my Michael Leonard-Smith in 1993.

The company was the original Legato distributor in New Zealand specialising in backup and recovery applications with a very strong focus on support.

As the storage market developed, IDATA expanded into the wider areas of storage and data availability. This includes storage systems, backup and recovery, replication, high availability, disaster recovery and virtualisation.

IDATA has offices in Auckland, Wellington and Sydney providing solution design and installation, professional services, operational management and 24x7 support across Australasia and North America.

With little or no staff turnover IDATA has built a team of highly skilled professionals with a clear understanding of the mutual value relationship between IDATA and our customers.

IDATA is an organisation based in Auckland, Wellington and Sydney with a primary focus of delivering innovative data management solutions for Small, Medium and Large businesses, Government departments, and Universities. Our area of coverage is Primarily New Zealand and Australia wide through a network of skilled, industry experienced, expert individuals. Due to our unique skills we are now providing the same services to companies worldwide.
